SGTech has announced the launch of the AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative, a  new ecosystem-driven effort to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) move from AI  curiosity to real-world business impact.

The AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative is designed to support enterprises, particularly SMEs, at  different stages of AI readiness through a structured yet flexible, three-stage guided journey:

  • Foundation – Awareness & Understanding: Building AI fluency and awareness of  practical business applications
  • Engage – Applying AI in Workflows: Integrating AI tools into day-to-day business  processes
  • Operational – Experimentation & Pilot Exploration: Supporting early  experimentation, pilot discussions and implementation

The initiative offers hands-on workshops, expert-led clinics, workflow-mapping guidance and  practical demonstrations, enabling enterprises to identify and test AI use cases aligned with real  business needs.

Individual participants may also choose sessions best aligned with  their roles and organisational needs, while allowing them to learn at their own pace, and identify which AI tools best fit the company’s requirements.

The initiative is anchored by strong ecosystem partnerships. SGTech is working closely with  Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), including the Singapore Business Federation  (SBF) and the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI) as pioneer  strategic partners.

Founding partners, Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Singtel Stack-EZ will support  different stages of the journey by providing access to practical AI platforms, tools and expertise.

Mr Nicholas Lee, Chair of SGTech, said, “AI has moved from promise to reality. The  challenge today is not whether AI matters, but how enterprises, especially SMEs, can adopt it  meaningfully and responsibly.

“The AI-Ready Enterprise Initiative focuses on what businesses  need most: trusted guidance, practical use cases and hands-on support. By working with  government and industry partners, we are ready to help enterprises turn AI ambition into  measurable outcomes for their businesses and their people.”

Mr Kok Ping Soon, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Business Federation, said,  “Supporting SMEs on their AI journey requires practical guidance, trusted partners, and strong  industry collaboration.

“Through this initiative, we aim to help our members understand real world use cases, access structured learning pathways, and build the confidence to integrate AI  into their day-to-day operations.”

Mr Abdul Malik Hassan, President, Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce &  Industry, said, “We are excited to partner with SGTech as a pioneer strategic partner in this  initiative. SMCCI will serve as a bridge to help Malay/Muslim SMEs move from interest to action  in AI adoption.

“By bringing structured learning, practical tools, and trusted industry partners  directly to our community, we aim to ensure our businesses are not left behind in Singapore’s  AI journey.”
